Construction on the world“s largest energy-saving doors and windows production unit started recently in the Gaobeidian Economic Development Zone, Hebei Province, north China, scheduled to be completed in 2011. Jointly funded and founded by Hebei Orient Sundar Window Co., Ltd. and German window manufacturer Moser, the project involves a total investment of CNY 3.3 billion, covering about 653,660 sq.m.. The main products of the unit, in accordance with German industrial standards, include sliding heat-insulation windows, glass curtain walls, aluminium-wood composite windows, aluminium-clad wood windows, solid wood windows, chock system windows, conservatories, high-end solid wood doors, glued laminated timber, and deep-processing glass. Orient Sundar, a Sino-German modern energy-saving doors and windows maker, is equipped with 18 numerical control production lines introduced from Europe, and has annual sales in excess of CNY 500 million.
