China“s flat glass output increased 12.8% in July 2007, with the growth rate down 6.3 percentage points, according to information from the Ministry of Commerce on 11 September 2007. In July 2007, the ex-factory flat glass price from key building material enterprises reached CNY 64 per container load, down CNY 1/container load month-on-month. At the end of July2007 , the flat glass inventory of the said enterprises totaled 18.46 million container loads, down 18.9%. In the first seven months of 2007, China“s flat glass output was 285.97 million container loads, up 17.2%.
