About 170 international companies and more than 530 Chinese companies have registered for this year’s edition of China Glass. The event will take up over 80,000 sq.m., with highlights including technologies, equipment and products related to low-carbon economy and the latest development of energy-saving glass.
China Glass 2012, organized by the Chinese Ceramic Society and run by the Beijing Zhonggui Exhibition Co., Ltd., will be staged in Shanghai 2-5 April 2012. This event will have seven halls at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (Halls E1-E7), covering an area of over 80,000 sq.m., larger than all its previous events. Technologies, equipment and products related to low-carbon economy and the latest development of energy-saving glass and new energy technology will be among the highlights of this exhibition.
Up to date, about 170 companies have registered booths in the international exhibition area, which covers more than 7,000 square metres, an increase of 1,000 square metres over China Glass 2011. Germany, Italy and America will, as usual, have their state pavilions, with the German pavilion taking up 600 square metres, a much larger area than the last show. The Italian Trade Commission and GIMAV will also have larger exhibition booths compared with the last event.
The American exhibitors group organized by Dame Associates Inc. has sixteen companies. The 2011 edition also had Turkish companies participating for the first time, which, during the event, sold their machines and equipment on the spot. This year, therefore, they will have much larger booths.
So far, more than 530 Chinese companies have registered and even if the total area of the seven exhibition halls is nearly 20,000 sq.m. larger than that of the last event, there are about 200 companies waiting in line to be assigned booths.
Many companies are also coming back to China Glass for the second or third time, while a number of newcomers will be present from Russia, Vietnam, Turkey, France, America, Germany, Italy, etc., such as Best Cam Isieme Makinalari Imalat Sanayi Ve Ticaret Ltd., AGC Business Consulting (Shanghai) Ltd., Wintriss Inspection Solutions (Suzhou) Co., Ltd., Sinoptix Shanghai Office, Ekaterinburg Non-ferrous Metals Processing Plant, The Ural Plant of Chemical Reagents, Dom Home Science Glass Mirror Co., There will also be technical seminars, while GPD China 2012 will be taking place just before the exhibition.
