Rauch Industries has bought New York-based Christopher Radko Designs, a leading designer and distributor of high-end, collectible glass Christmas ornaments and other seasonal collectibles. The ornaments are sold through Bloomingdales, Nordstroms, Macy“s and Saks Fifth Avenue, among other specialty and gift stores. The acquisition was completed 9 March 2005. Radko will be president of the Christopher Radko Division of Rauch Industries and has been elected to Rauch“s Board of Directors. “I welcome Rauch“s operational and distribution support,” Radko said in a release. “This opportunity frees me up to do what I love most – sales, marketing and creating great holiday designs.” Rauch, a leading domestic manufacturer and marketer of machine-made glass Christmas ornaments and distributor of Halloween products, is based in Gastonia, North Carolina.
