Conference on Glass Problems: final abstract deadline on 1 March

The 74th Conference on Glass Problems will be taking place 14-17 October at the Greater Columbus Convention Center, Columbus, Ohio. This year, the event will discuss Glass Melting; Refractories; Process Control & Modelling; Safety and Emission; Raw Materials, Batching, and Recycling; as well as New Topics (relevant to glass industries).

Those wishing to present a paper at the 74th Conference on Glass Problems (GPC), are requested to do so by 1 March 2013. This year’s event will take place at the Greater Columbus Convention Center, Columbus, Ohio, 14-17 October. Engineers, educators, students and solutions providers working on various aspects of glass manufacturing should submit an abstract for an oral presentation. Broad topics of interest include:
•    Glass Melting
•    Refractories
•    Process Control & Modelling
•    Safety and Emission
•    Raw Materials, Batching, and Recycling
•    New Topics (relevant to glass industries)
The GPC is the largest glass manufacturing conference in North America, attracting glass manufacturers and suppliers from around the world to exchange innovations and solutions. Co-organized by the Glass Manufacturing Industry Council and Alfred University, the conference provides expert lectures, panel discussions and focused courses, along with tabletop exhibits and social events.
