Conference on Glass Problems: registration is open for 73rd edition

During the 73rd Conference on Glass Problems, glass manufacturers and suppliers worldwide will exchange innovations and solutions for the manufacturing of all glass types. Topics cover glass melting, process control, modelling, refractories, safety and emissions, as well as, batch, recycling and raw materials.

The 73rd Conference on Glass Problems will take place 1-3 October at the Hilton Cincinnati Netherland Plaza in Ohio, US. This year’s conference includes industry experts giving lectures and panel discussions, as well as four short courses, exhibits and social events.
The 73rd GPC attracts glass manufacturers and suppliers worldwide to exchange innovations and solutions for the manufacturing of all glass types. Topics cover glass melting, process control, modelling, refractories, safety and emissions, as well as, batch, recycling and raw materials.
Those who register before 31 August can also take advantage of the early-bird discount.
The Conference will also include a series of short courses on Monday 1 October, regarding:
Design of Experiments Simplified; Regenerator Design, Application and Solutions; Fundamental of Batch and Furnace Operation; Fining Processes and Oxidation-Reduction Reactions in Glass Melts.
Graduate and undergraduate students are encouraged to apply for one of the 20 travel grants available for the 73rd GPC. Each grant consists of USD 850 in travel funds, plus complimentary student registration.
