Croxsons produce stylish new bottle for Ginscape

Croxsons produce stylish new bottle for Ginscape.

Danish company, Scape Spirits, distills and packages its gin in the UK, but maintains a distinctly Danish twist that is evocative of Denmark’s famous hygge culture. Scape Spirit’s aim was to develop a smooth and balanced gin with the clear touch of total freedom like being at the seaside – the total escape. They believe they have found the answer with their Ginscape sea buckthorn London dry gin and, of course, this special gin needed a very special bottle.

Croxsons, who has been supplying glass packaging and closure solutions for 145 years, was the first port of call for Scape Spirits’ founder and owner, Hans Christian Kjaergaar-Hansen, who said; “Working with Croxsons has been a very professional and smooth process. Once we established that they could source and supply the 11,000 bottles needed for our first batch, the team took their time to ensure the print was absolutely right at sample stage, and following approval they went straight in to production. We wanted a transparent bottle that was different and would really stand out on shelf; it is safe to say that we are incredibly satisfied with the outcome of the finished product.”

The complex decoration on the 700ml bottle includes a graduated spray coat on the front panel with a three colour screen print on top – the back panel was left clear to accommodate a label. In a bold and eye-catching design by UK based Creative Graphics, the colours fully match the customer’s brief.

Croxsons’ Tim Croxson said: “It has been really interesting working with this unique Danish gin distiller. Their passion for gin has been clear from the outset; combine this with our passion for producing stunning packaging and you can expect nothing less than outstanding results. The bottle really does reach out to the consumer with its bright colours and creative design.”

Ginscape sea buckthorn London dry gin is due to be privately launched at an exclusive gathering in Copenhagen on May 5th, while the public launch will take place at the Copenhagen Gin Festival at Politikens Hus, on May 19th.
