Smart glass works thanks to a special electrochromic film
Window blocks with smart glass units with variable transparency are now part of Decon’s product range.
Decon has announced that its production line now includes window blocks with smart glass units with variable transparency.
Smart glass can be opaque or transparent, regulated by an electric switch with only 0.1 seconds to move from one state to the other. The smart glass works thanks to a special electrochromic film, which is fastened between sheets of transparent glass, like a triplex.
Electrochromic glass is reliably insulated, can have any shapes and cuts.
Smart glasses provide privacy and perfectly replace blinds, save on lighting and air conditioning of premises, reduce heat loss, prevent the passage of ultraviolet. At the request of the customer, such a double-glazed unit can additionally be equipped with one or two glasses, for example, heated or armoured.
