Independent studies have shown that windshields and side glass treated with hydrophobic coatings, such as Diamon-Fusion, have improved visibility during rainy conditions providing an invaluable added safety feature for both drivers and passengers.
Diamon-Fusion International, Inc. (DFI), global developer and exclusive licensor of patented hydrophobic nanotechnologies, announced on 13 September that it has sold its 500,000th windshield application in automotive markets worldwide, marking a significant milestone for the protective coating manufacturer.
Diamon-Fusion® nanocoating provides a cleaner, clearer and stronger windshield resulting in impact resistance, increased visibility and safer driving conditions. Once treated, the surface repels water, ice and snow, improving rain vision. It also makes the windshield easier to clean, allowing insects and residue to be easily washed away. Diamon-Fusion also reduces the coefficient of friction and increases the possible weight load of glass by up to ten times, making it much more durable and resistant to normal chips, cracks and scratches while not blistering or peeling like other coatings on the market.
