Diamon-Fusion International, Inc. (DFI) has partnered with SIGCO, Inc., enabling the latter company to add value to its broad range of glass products through the Diamon-Fusion® nanotechnology coating, enhancing long-term performance and customer satisfaction.
Diamon-Fusion International, Inc. (DFI), global developer and exclusive licensor of patented hydrophobic nanotechnologies, has announced a new partnership with SIGCO, Inc. a preeminent glass and architectural metal fabricator and distributor in New England, independently owned and operated since 1986.
The partnership enables SIGCO to add value to its broad range of glass products through the Diamon-Fusion® nanotechnology coating, enhancing long-term performance and customer satisfaction.
SIGCO serves customers’ needs with clear, tinted, reflective, rolled pattern, wire, laminated and mirror products in stock sheets and cases, available in thicknesses from 3/32″ to 3/4″, in a variety of sizes. SIGCO has grown over the decades, expanding into new products, territories, and now a cutting edge manufacturing facility.
Troy Johnson, vice president of SIGCO stated: “We became serious about switching to DFI as customers began to specifically request their coating. As we learned more we realized that DFI offers production and quality advantages that no other supplier can. These advantages complement SIGCO’s commitment to quality and craftsmanship. We look forward to working with DFI to grow our coating business substantially.”
Through DFI’s patented nano-coating process, the treatment to the glass creates a water repellent effect which enables ease of cleaning and protection against scratches, abrasion, hard water, soap scum, mildew and environmental elements, thereby considerably reducing the overall costs of maintenance in both residential and commercial applications. DFI’s proprietary no-cure-time application methods enable producers to increase production dramatically with minimal increases in costs.
“We are pleased to partner with leading fabricators such as SIGCO who match DFI’s zeal for delivering the highest quality products and also have the vision to see how DFI can help them now and in the future as coatings become standard on most glass surfaces,” shared Russell Slaybaugh, vice president and general manager of DFI. “We look forward providing SIGCO unparalleled profit opportunities in their coating endeavour and working hand-in-hand to help them capitalize on those opportunities.”
Through DFI’s patented nano-coating process, the treatment to the glass facade creates a water repellent effect which enables ease of cleaning and protection against scratches, abrasion, and environmental elements, therefore considerably reducing the overall costs of maintenance to the building. The Diamon-Fusion® nano-coating is optically clear, and does not affect the natural reflection of the glass exterior.
