Duralex launches brand-new colour for AW22 collection

The introduction of Plum complements the existing colours of Grey and Amber

French glassware manufacturer, Duralex, has added a brand-new colour variant to its product range for Autumn/Winter 2022.

The new colour, Plum, is the most recent addition to the brand’s new ‘Precious Nature AW22’ collection, which combines the autumnal colours of Grey, Amber and Plum to celebrate the creative side of nature, taking inspiration from the variety and beauty in the changing seasons.

The introduction of Plum complements the existing colours of Grey and Amber in the market to create a seasonal collection that complements contemporary design schemes, while also working as stand-alone pieces that are built to last.

In the UK, the Plum glasses will initially be available in the brand’s signature tumbler, the Picardie – known as “the original French tumbler” with unique curves and distinct bevelled lines that are instantly recognisable all over the world.

The marriage of warm Plum with the lighter colours in the range allows consumers an affordable way to match the seasons and lighten interiors this autumn, further positioning Duralex as an interior icon, offering vintage inspired designs with a modern twist.

Alexandra Blyth, UK Marketing Manager at International Cookware, said, “The new Plum colour offers consumers an effortless and beautiful way to bring the distinctive colours of autumn into their home.

“Bringing the colour to our iconic Picardie is about listening to the demand for modern retro pieces and delivering an affordable, long-lasting and beautiful Autumnal pop of colour to our most traditional glass.

“We are working closely with stockists to answer this demand and look forward to bringing the Precious Nature Plum Picardie to a retailer near you in the very near future.”
