With the recent acquisition of Commonwealth Laminating & Coating, Eastman has added another window film brand to its existing lines. Commonwealth is a manufacturer of SunTek Window Films, and had 2013 sales revenue of approximately USD 100 million.
Eastman has added another window film brand to its existing lines with the completed acquisition of Commonwealth Laminating & Coating Inc., manufacturer of SunTek Window Films.
“This acquisition will help us better serve the broad and diverse customer base for window and protective films while supporting expansion of our product offerings and the use of window films,” says Brad Lich, executive vice president. “We’re also very excited about adding the SunTek brand to our performance films products portfolio.”

Commonwealth had 2013 sales revenue of approximately USD 100 million. The acquisition includes Commonwealth’s manufacturing facility and master distribution centre in Martinsville, Va., and nine sales distribution centre that serve the global market.
