Edgetech: Super SpacerĀ® wins three reader Awards

The award season is not only reserved to the world of cinema, the window industry also has it, and Super SpacerĀ® has won three awards

USGlass Magazine, one of the most influential and wide-reaching specialist magazines in the USA, called for the readers vote and the flexible spacer won the Readers ā€˜Choice Award 2019ā€™ in the category ā€œSpacers for insulating glassā€.

The readers of the Door and Window Market Magazine (DWM) chose Super SpacerĀ® as their preferred window component.

In Great Britain too Edgetech / Quanex had reason to celebrate, with an impressive 91.5 percent of all votes cast Edgetech Super SpacerĀ® won the National Fenestration Award, an award with which the British window industry honours the best every year, in the “Spacer Bar Manufacturer” category.

Edgetech Europe GmbH, based in Heinsberg, has achieved another record year in 2019. According to Joachim Stoss, ā€œthe success of the Super SpacerĀ® flexible silicone foam-based spacer can be attributed to two industry trends: the growing importance of energy-efficient building products and the global shift to automated production of insulating glass.ā€
