The company Emaver Miroiterie Martin was founded in 1956 and it has a history of ever increasing quality and versatility.
Emaver has two Saint-Gobain certifications, one for double glazing glasses (Climalit) and one for tempered glass (Securit), but it deals with all the main kinds of glass processing: from cutting to insulating glazing, to EVA lamination tempering.
Today Emaver employs 40 people, and continues in its path of constant growth by investing in people and in the quality of the equipment. The most important investment made by Emaver is undoubtedly the new Mappi Ats 4.0 tempering furnace, able to carry out activities that were not possible with the old tempering furnace.
The machine handles sheets up to 3800 x 2200 mm and thickness can range from 4 to 19 mm. The speed, flexibility and reliability of the new Ats 4.0 will allow Emaver to take another step forward along the path of excellence that the company has always followed.
Emilie Potier, president of Emaver, said, “The new oven is more energy efficient, it can handle low emission glass, it is more reliable and can be remotely controlled via the web. The investment was important, but even today, two months after its commissioning, we can say that it was the right choice. The tempering furnace is the heart of the plant, and today Emaver has a perfectly healthy heart which, I am sure, will take us far.
“There is one thing I’d like to add: our previous furnace too was Mappi, bought 18 years ago. It has helped us grow and meet the demands of our customers. Its reliability and the competence and kindness of the people who work at Mappi convinced us to stay with the Italian company”.
