Emhart Glass ‘opens’ new Web Shop

Emhart Glass’ new Web Shop is being launched this year, which will, says the company, reduce administrative efforts and increase the efficiency of purchasing processes. The new system provides various search functions and easy navigation through the comprehensive parts portfolio.

Leveraging on the One Stop Shopping approach, Emhart Glass After Sales Services are launching the new Web Shop in 2013. This means that the essential operations regarding ordering spare parts will, says Emhart Glass, significantly reduce the administrative efforts and increase the efficiency of the purchasing processes.
The key design criteria for the Web Shop were simplified and time saving ordering processes and real-time customer responses. Additionally, the new system provides various search functions and easy navigation through the comprehensive parts portfolio. Specific attributes and detailed parts descriptions ensure fast location of any desired part. Furthermore, all item-related information, such as Technical News Bulletins (TNB) and public drawings will be available in a single place.
In a first phase trial, customers will test and validate the offering, processes and features of the new order channel. After this initial phase, this beneficial new channel will be released to all Emhart Glass’ customers.
During 2013 additional functionality will become available. Customers will be able to navigate within their specific installed base, showing their IS machines as they are configured and installed in their plant.
