Energy-saving glass features at second Republican Forum of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs in Makhachkala

The second Republican Forum of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs entitled “Engineering modernization – basis for the new economy” commenced in Makhachkala on 29 March

The event brought together the Russian Minister of Northern Caucasus Lev Kuznetsov, Dagestani Head Ramazan Abdulatipov, the chairman of Dagestan National Assembly Khizri Shikhsaidov, the members of the republican Cabinet of Ministers, the guests from other regions, as well as the representatives of the expert community, large companies and investment foundations.
Guests visited an exhibition of innovations and high-tech products prepared by the research and educational institutions of Dagestan. The list of exhibitors included the training center and the new production workshop of Kizlyar Electromechanical Plant in Kaspiysk. The center provides the highly qualified specialists of Dagestan airline mechanical plant with training and skills improving courses.
The Caspian float glass plant presented an energy-saving glass at the exhibition. The plant is the flagship of Dagestan industry and is one of the largest sheet glass manufacturers in the south of Russia. The workers of the enterprise practice their skills in specialized workshop using high-tech technologies.
Dagestan Scientific Center will present developments in the field of alternative energy (solar energy collectors), biogas complexes and flying trains (superconductor trains).
Dagestan Development Corporation presents three projects: “Synthetic diamonds”, “Russian stamp” (a laboratory for the creation of an engineering center based on DSTU and Dagdizel plant) and “Microwave Laboratory”.
Ramazan Abdulatipov also asked the representatives of the enterprises and companies about the implementation of products and developments exhibited at the forum. The other exhibition stands were devoted to the results of realization of Dagestan priority development projects implemented on the territory of the republic. The participants of the exhibition also could see an interactive investment passport of Dagestan.
