Future Architectural (FA) Glass’ custom built factory based in Ras Al Khaimah in the United Arab Emirates incorporates British and European technology with regards to machinery and software.
Future Architectural (FA) Glass, a joint venture between Singapore conglomerate Lim Fa and Indian glass processing group Fishfa, has invested in a custom built factory based in Ras Al Khaimah in the United Arab Emirates. The facility incorporates British and European technology, including: a Hegla Optimax Cutting Table with auto loading; Forvet CNC; Busetti double edge polishing; Lisec Sealing Line; Lisec Spacer Bender; and a fully automatic SeamMaX-X arrissing line.
FA Glass also chose Jotika Software, specifying Jotika’s Gtrak3 and OptimiserX products so as to make the best use of the new factory and manage enquiries and sales orders.
The standard Gtrak3 quotation entry product was adapted to allow for cost estimations, meeting the needs of the unique pricing methods. Each job or project is priced individually, taking into account material costs, labour costs, breakage factor, predicted waste and profit margin, among other factors.
