FC Laser increases cutting capabilities with three new Bystronic machines

Precision laser cutting company FC Laser (Derbyshire, UK) has strengthened its modern laser cutting capabilities with the latest additions of two new Bystronic CO2 Lasers and one Bystronic Fibre Laser.

FC Laser’s customers, who come from a wide range of sectors such as the nuclear, architectural, prestige automotive and shop fitting industries, will benefit from the company’s improvements in its production capacities.

FC Laser also offers a folding service with two Bystronic presses along with welding and drilling operations that are carried out on site.

These additional services have enabled FC Laser to launch five new technical and administration apprentices in partnership with Learning Unlimited and Training Services. The aim of the schemes is to nurture and develop the skill and talent of students in metalworking and drawing, as well as administration. This in turn will help secure a supply of skilled young recruits throughout the business from sales to the production departments.

Speaking about the new apprenticeship schemes, Steve Connolly, FC Laser’s sales manager said, “It is vital that we invest in our staff and equipment to ensure that we are a reliable supplier that can offer our customers the best service and products using the latest technology.”
