At glasstec, Dip-Tech and Ferro will participate together to showcase their comprehensive joint offering for glass printing, presenting dedicated solutions for architectural, automotive, appliance and container glass.
Ferro, a leading global provider of functional coatings and colour solutions for glass, and its Dip-Tech business, a world-leading provider of digital ceramic glass printing solutions, are pleased to announce their joint participation in glasstec 2018, 23-26 October, in Hall 12, Stand B49.
At glasstec, Ferro and Dip-Tech will showcase their comprehensive joint offering for glass printing, presenting dedicated solutions for architectural, automotive, appliance and container glass – including new technologies that expand business opportunities for their customers.
Ferro and Dip-Tech will use the glasstec platform to unveil a dedicated digital glass printing solution for the appliances market. Demonstrations of this market-changing technology will take place in a closed area within the booth. Show attendees interested in viewing the machine in action should book an appointment in advance.
Throughout each day of the show, Dip-Tech will run live demonstrations of the new version of its Nera D glass printer for architecture and design applications, now enhanced with an inline process for industrial batches and a smart dryer.
Booth visitors will also get to try the new Visualizer – a powerful visual sales tool, easily implemented on any website, that allows glass processors’ customers (architects, interior-designers and end-users) to see in advance how printed glass will look in the specific target environment.
Ferro and Dip-Tech will also showcase printed glass applications that leverage the best of screen and digital print combined, for inspiration and providing a definitive, real-world demonstration of what their comprehensive solution can achieve.
In addition, during selected hours, Architect Eyal Porat, author of the Dip-Tech Projects book – a collection of printed glass applications for architects and interior designers – will be on-hand, giving away signed copies to lucky visitors.
As a recognized leader in automotive glass inks, Ferro is continuously innovating, bringing new opportunities and value to the global automotive glass industry. At glasstec, it will show multiple applications of Ferro’s market-proven automotive inks as well as new technologies addressing the latest automotive trends, including special black and conductive inks for the fast-growing coated windshield market.
Also at the booth, Dip-Tech will be conducting live demonstrations of the new-generation, inline, automated Nera V glass printer, along with new dedicated Ferro digital automotive inks. A fully dedicated printer designed exclusively for the unique demands of the automotive industry, the new Nera V features a fast, inline automatic indexing motion system to index and register unique shaped glasses seamlessly, short cycle time, and high production versatility. With this machine, digital now offers a competitive option for automotive glass printing in large batches.
Rounding out its complete glass market reach, the Ferro container glass decoration division will showcase a colourful, highly alluring area packed with glass printed bottles, cups and vases, demonstrating the extraordinary versatility and aesthetic properties of Ferro’s enamels and sprays. With the widest portfolio of colour solutions for containers and tableware, Ferro opens an exceptionally wide range of opportunities for its customers. This wide range will be further complemented by the acquisition of Diegel. Diegel is one of the world’s largest producers of waterborne industrial coatings that specializes amongst others in the niche sector of organic coatings for application on glass.
Booth visitors will have the unique opportunity to meet more than 60 Ferro/Dip-Tech team members from around the world, to learn and share with the experts, and to experience the power of Ferro’s and Dip-Tech’s glass leadership.
In addition to demos of the new printers, there will be a series of special events at 11:00 and at 15:00 each day, complete with refreshments. A detailed event program will be published closer to the show. With non-stop activities, visitors are encouraged to stop by more than once.
