FEVE, the European Container Glass Association, organized a visit to Polish Sieraków Glassworks container glass company for Dr. Filip Kaczmarek, Member of the European Parliament.
FEVE, the European Container Glass Association, organized together with the Polish container glass company and FEVE member BA Vidro and Warta Glass, a container glass factory visit with Member of the European Parliament (MEP) Dr. Filip Kaczmarek on 30 March in Poland. Dr. Kaczmarek was welcomed at the Polish Sieraków Glassworks close to Poznan by Reinaldo Coelho, President of the Board of Warta Glass, Warta Glass Manager Wojciech Kolpa and Alexander Mohr from FEVE.
Dr. Kaczmarek, a member of the European Peoples Party (EEP) in the European Parliament, and Member of the Environment Committee, has his constituency in the Poznan region and welcomed the opportunity to visit a container glass plant.
Coelho and Kolpa gave an overview over the production process in the Sieraków glass plant and highlighted the environmental benefits of container glass as a material endlessly recyclable in a closed loop system.
BA Vidro is, with Warta Glass, a leader on the Polish and Baltic States markets of flint glass packaging and operates two glassworks in Poland.
