FIT Show has become a CPD member and is working towards developing a number of CPD certified seminars as part of its 2019 learning programmes. Engaging in continuing professional development ensures that both academic and practical qualifications do not become outdated or obsolete.
With new show features such as FIT Show’s flat glass offering, Visit Glass, dubbed ‘the show within a show’ and a full day dedicated to attracting new talent into the sector; ‘Skills Thursday’, organisers are seeking to broaden the show content and its appeal to new and wider audiences.
The learning programme for 2019 is set to tackle a range of key industry themes and topics, delivered by a line-up of experts. Topics will range from practical product demonstrations through to advice on increasing profitability, tackling mental health in the workplace and how to retain and drive new talent.
Event director Nickie West said: “Allowing individuals to continually ‘up skill’ or ‘re-skill’ themselves, regardless of occupation, age or educational level is a vital part of driving skills and quality in the workplace, as well as retaining talent.
“We’re very proud to announce that we will be delivering a number of CPD and RIBA approved seminar as part of the 2019 schedule. It’s a real coup for the Show, and a testament of our commitment to push quality, training and skills as part of our agenda for 2019 and beyond.”
FIT Show will be announcing which seminars are CPD certified in the coming months and is inviting exhibitors to submit their own CPD approved content for consideration.
