Maschinenbau GEROLD GmbH & Co. KG based in Nettetal / Germany strengthened its portfolio by acquiring the brand Fleischle. The worldwide operating manufacturer produces complex production lines, automation and screen printing machines for automotive and special glasses for displays as well as white goods. The company also offers complete production lines for photovoltaic modules. Now this range of products is complemented by screen printing lines and machines of Fleischle to be used for printing on large format architectural glass.
Fleischle machines have been in the market for more than 35 years, and from now on these products will be produced, marketed, and serviced under the roof of GEROLD. In order to benefit further from the longtime competence of Fleischle former sales and service staff have been employed.
With this acquisition, the first steps of further development in printing technology have been taken. GEROLD continues their cooperation with Ferro in developing a digital system for printing on flat glass. This new system allows printing of individual designs with ceramic ink at high intensity and opacity on large glass panes. Printing of frames or raster pictures at small lots is now quick and efficient.
The cooperating partners will present this new system for the first time at Glasstec Düsseldorf, HALL 11 STAND F67, from October 23rd until 26th, 2012.
