Forglass invests EUR 230,000 in Life Plan Academy

Forglass has been a huge supporter of programs for kids created by Marek Kaminski’s Foundation, namely the Life Plan Academy. Since its inception, Forglass has provided over PLN 1 million (approximatively EUR 230,000) in support for the Academy and has been their key strategic partner.

In addition to money, Forglass management and employees actively support Life Plan Academy and Marek Kaminski’s Foundation by participating in various events. One of them is a series called EmPower Walks – fun and leisurely walks organised in various scenic locations around Poland and intended to bring awareness to the issue of mental health among youths and the dire need to help teenagers build mental resilience.

Seven such EmPower Walks have taken place since last year, attended by some 550 participants in different regions of Poland. As a result, Life Plan Academy received approximately EUR 100,000 in donations, which allowed nearly 200 kids to participate in the program.

The engagement of participants and supporters was clearly visible during the recent Pomeranian EmPower Walk that took place on October 6, covering a 16 km distance from Gdansk to Gdynia, Poland. Forglass is very proud to be among several large corporations that support the Foundation, including the telecommunications giant Orange, Santander and Oshee, to name but a few.

It truly takes a village to raise a kid and literally everyone can do their part – no matter how big or small. If you have something to give, join Forglass and others, take part in the next EmPower Walk.
