Forglass, one of the leading European suppliers of furnaces and batch plants was chosen by Ardagh Glass Packaging because of the company’s reputation for unparalleled quality, as well as engineering prowess.
The new furnace, based on technology developed by Forglass (with full automation and safety systems, including gas supply), will deliver over 400 tonnes of glass per day to three forehearths, also designed, manufactured and installed by Forglass.
The innovative technology ensures that the new furnace will be more environmentally-friendly due to lower energy consumption and lower emission of greenhouse gases.
