In its latest Sustainability Report, Zignago Vetro declared that its production facility in Poland would also have its own FSSC 22000 (Food Safety System 22000) Certification. This promise has now become a reality, in line with the time-frame the company had set itself.
Located near Warsaw in an area that is geographically strategic for covering the traditional European markets, as well as the rapidly growing ones of Eastern Europe, the Polish facility, which produces glass containers for the worldwide food and beverage and cosmetics and perfumery markets

For Zignago Vetro, obtaining this certification represents a significant step towards the objective of making glass become not only an ally of taste, but also a guarantor of safety for all. The attention to recognizing, evaluating and limiting the potential risks for food safety, as well as managing a system aimed at satisfying to the full the requirements for quality, have been two essential elements in achieving this result.
