During this year’s G12 Awards, held in London at the Hilton Park Lane Hotel, Glassolutions took the top honour by winning the Glass Company of the Year award. Glassolutions became the new name for Solaglas in March this year to encapsulate the true scope of its services and products.

Glassolutions has taken the top honour at this year’s G12 Awards by winning the Glass Company of the Year award.
In presenting the award, Mark Warren, president of the UK’s Glass and Glazing Federation (GGF) said the judges were impressed by the way in which Glassolutions had adapted as a business over the last 12 months to best serve the demands of a changing industry.
Glassolutions marketing director Mike Butterick, who collected the award alongside managing director Simon Carin, said: “Winning the Glass Company of the Year Award is a fantastic achievement which recognizes the hard work and dedication of everyone within the Glassolutions business over the last 12 months. It’s been an exciting year which has seen the business rebrand from the established Solaglas name and bring to the fore the outstanding service and product innovations that give us a clear differentiation in a fiercely competitive market.”
Glassolutions became the new name for Solaglas in March this year to encapsulate the true scope of its services and products – embraced in its new strapline ‘Your glass. Our world’. Its services range from EcoClear sealed unit manufacturing through to architectural glazing for some of the UK’s most high profile buildings, and 24/7 glazing repairs for many major insurance companies and high street retailers.
Over the last 12 months, the company has delivered new market opportunities through the launch of innovative products such as a range of interior glazing products. This includes Tex Glass, a laminated glass product with fabric interlayers that offers unlimited creative potential.
Glassolutions has also extended its customer support with a multi-million pound investment in new facilities including its Waterlands site, plus service initiatives underpinned by a new content-rich website complete with unique knowledge centre.
