Vidrala has announced that Galo Alvarez has joined the company as Corporate Sustainability Director.
In his new position, Galo Alvarez will be responsible for the successful development and implementation of Vidrala corporate sustainability strategy in line with the 4Ps: Prosperity, People, Planet and Place. His active participation in Vidrala Executive and Sustainability Committees will address key aspects such as Corporate Sustainability Strategy, ESG assessments and reporting, ensuring that Vidrala remains at the forefront of sustainable practices. In addition, he will play a key role in monitoring regulatory changes in Europe, UK and LATAM to safeguard compliance with new sustainability standards.
