At Luxe Pack Shanghai, 30-31 March 2010, Gerresheimer“s Chinese subsidiary will be presenting high quality glass designs for the Asian perfume and cosmetics industry, communicating their know-how and the technologies used to create these aesthetic products. The majority of the Gerresheimer Group“s production operations are geared to the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors, for which it has specialist plants in Europe, North and South America and Asia. It also manufactures both glass and plastic products for the selective and upmarket masstige segments of the luxury fragrance, skincare and beauty markets. “Our customers not only benefit from our comprehensive portfolio,” said Burkhard Lingenberg, director Corporate Communication & Marketing at the Gerresheimer Group, “They also profit from our global and interdisciplinary network“s extensive experience, countless ideas and product advancements.” The glass products on show at Gerresheimer“s stand include some of the most famous names in the cosmetics industry, ranging from packaging for fragrances and deodorants, to creams and lotions, as well as make-up and nail varnish. These cosmetics products owe their sophisticated and multifarious aesthetic and emotive appeal to superior packaging design plus a diverse range of technologies which transform the creative concepts into precious glass objects. Some are feeder dyed or coated, some are textured, acid matted, sprayed, printed, or hot embossed – and others are quite simply made of perfect, transparent glass. The Beijing Gerresheim team will also be providing background information to interested trade visitors, and delivering some new and captivating surprises in the cosmetics market this coming season.
