Gerresheimer provides safely packaged health and well-being

Strong growth in pharmaceutical sales is expected in the Russian market. Analysts estimate that revenue will quadruple by 2020. Gerresheimer will be exhibiting innovative pharmaceutical packaging solutions at Pharmtech in Moscow, 26-29 November.

Bernd Zeiss will be talking about the technological aspects of pre-fillable syringes in his presentation “The Right Syringe for your Medication“ in the Pharmtech Forum on November 28 from 1.50 to 2.20 p.m.
Bernd Zeiss is Manager Pre-Sales Support in the Tubular Glass Division, which is showcasing pre-fillable syringe systems including the flagship RTF® sterile syringes. Tubular glass is the input material for a comprehensive range of high quality pharmaceutical vials, ampoules and cartridges in numerous filling sizes and design variants.
The Moulded Glass division manufactures high-quality injection, infusion and transfusion bottles as well as dropper and tablet bottles of various types, shapes and sizes in glass categories I, II and III.
One of the central products in the Plastic Packaging Division’s presentation and winner of the German Packaging Award in 2011 is be the MultiShell® plastic vials for sensitive parenteral medications. Gerresheimer Plastic Packaging has established a leading reputation for its comprehensive range of high quality primary packaging products for liquid and solid medications.
Gerresheimer is the specialist for glass and plastic syringe systems. Today, chronically ill people can administer their medication simply and reliably with asthma inhalers and insulin pens. However, even patients who receive an injection from their doctor, use a nasal spray to relieve cold symptoms, take cough medicine or tablets also often come into contact with Gerresheimer products because it makes the glass or plastic vials or tablet containers for these medications.
