Dino Zandonella Necca, GIMAV and VITRUM President, said, “Participating in international Industry events is a key tool for promoting and enhancing our Made in Italy in the world. However, what visitors will find at Glass South America is just a taste of what will be fully unveiled at VITRUM25, where companies will deploy their full potential from September 16 to 19, 2025 in Milan.”
Made in Italy will take centre stage at Glass South America 2024, the event hosted biennially in São Paulo, Brazil. The fair, which specializes in glass technologies for building, furniture, architecture and automotive industries, will feature the participation of GIMAV and Italian companies under the new title of “Italian Glass Excellence.”
A new name for what has actually always been at the heart of the success of Made in Italy companies: a powerful mix of passion, technical and technological expertise, creativity and customization skills; a winning formula that allows Italian companies to create solutions that are always innovative and responsive to customers’ needs, in a unique way that earns the Made in Italy Sector the title of excellence.
The stands presented at the fair will feature the Italian flag, symbolizing not only geographical origin but also the distinctive approach characterizing Italian craftsmanship.
Eleven companies will be present in the Italian Glass Excellence exhibition area, ready to showcase their latest innovations and projects: Adelio Lattuada Srl – booth L030, Bottero SpA – booth M041, Fenzi SpA, with co-exhibitor ALU PRO Srl – booth M048, Gemata SpA – booth L048, Glass Company Srl – booth M052, Helios Italquartz Srl – booth N047, Italcarrelli SpA – booth N051, MACOTEC Srl – booth N025, Triulzi Cesare Special Equipments Srl, co-exhibiting with TECBI Srl – booth M039.
Visitors will also find the GIMAV and VITRUM booth at number M049, adjacent to the mentioned companies.
Regarding this new event in the calendar of international Glass Industry appointments, GIMAV and VITRUM President Dino Zandonella Necca reiterated, “For more than 40 years we have been committed to the promotion and enhancement of our Industry’s excellence, and we are convinced that in order to do this effectively, it is essential to participate in the international appointments most felt by our companies.
“The value of the Italian glass technology industry is already recognized worldwide, of course, but each year represents a new opportunity to reaffirm this recognition and demonstrate that we continually live up to it, showing the world the new needs of the market and the new answers developed by our companies to meet them.”
Finally, President Zandonella Necca added, “Obviously, what visitors will see at Glass South America and at this year’s other events is just a foretaste: a taste of what will be fully brought to the stage at VITRUM, our international event where the Italians play at home.”
The appointment in Brazil will therefore be an opportunity to invite all international players in the Industry to the next edition of VITRUM, which will be held September 16 to 19, 2025, in Pavilions 9 and 11 at Fiera Milano Rho, Milan, Italy.
