Gimav (Italian Association of Glass Processing Machinery and Accessories Suppliers) will be participating at Glasstec 2012, running October 23-26, 2012 in Düsseldorf. The Italian exhibition will take up a total of 15,000 square meters and feature 56 companies. (46 for flat glass and 10 for hollow glass) Pavilion 13 and 16 have been set aside for “Made in Italy,” representing more than 70% of Italian flat and hollow glass companies, and Gimav will be coordinating promotional efforts between its members. Gimav’s Director, Renata Gaffo, said of the event, “The exhibition, a must-attend event for those working in the glass circuit, is an important opportunity to find out where the sector is headed over the coming months, and to find out in the very heart of Europe what potential our crisis-ridden continent can offer this particular industrial sector.” Gimav can be found at Glasstec 2012 in hall 16, booth D50.
