The Old Town Hall in Biberach, Germany, was designed in 1432 to meet the needs of trade and commerce. Münz Architekten adapted the half-timbered building to the contemporary requirements of an administrative building and created adequate space for a citizens’ service, tourist information and receptions, among other things.
In order to make the medieval halls usable as a modern citizens’ office, have been installed all glass partition walls are made of Glas Trösch‘s laminated safety glass with increased sound insulation. This provides employees and visitors with plenty of daylight despite the room’s separation and can deal with their concerns undisturbed.
