At this year’s Vitrum trade event, Glass Company will have on show a series of solutions for today’s demanding glass processors and market. Visitors will have the chance to see innovative heating for all glass types – including low-E – as well as laminating with PVB film.

Glass Company will be at Vitrum this year with a series of tailor-made solutions for safety glass making. On its 170-square-metre stand, visitors and clients will have the chance to see for themselves the quality of the furnaces that Glass Company has been making for the European market for more than 10 years, in collaboration with Jinglass.
AIR-JET CONVECTION
At Vitrum, Glass Company will have on show an air-jet convection heating chamber, with the exclusive patented Matrix heating system. Visitors and clients will be shown the innovative heating chamber that enables to heat any type of glass: low-E ≥ 0,01, reflective, transparent, coated, etc., thanks to real convection technology that does not differentiate between types of glass, thickness and dimensions. The real convection system with Matrix technology provides accurate and optimal heat transfer on the entire surface of the heating chamber, guaranteeing excellent quality of tempered glass, which cannot compare to that of traditional infrared heating.
Glass Company will also have on show large-sized curved tempered glass sheets created by its Italian clients using Glass
Company machines, providing visitors the possibility of assessing production quality.
THE JUMBO FURNACE
Glass Company staff will be at the stand for those requiring more information and photos of recent machinery installations, such as the Jumbo furnace for flat tempered glass with real convection and Matrix technology, for glass sizes up to 3300x6000mm, also suitable for low-E, triple silver glass tempering with 4mm thicknesses, as well as the innovative double-chamber furnace with new heating technology that will be installed at a European company by November this year. This furnace will have a heating chamber of about 1800x10000mm, and will be able to temper very thin glass, in oscillating and semi-continuous mode.
INNOVATIONS IN LASERS AND PLASMA TECHNOLOGY
Information regarding the most recent Glass
Company innovations, such as the laser drill for glass, the plasma system for the preparation of glass before digital printing, laser systems which remove paint, silver and coatings and low-E ≥ 0,01, leaving the glass completely transparent, new high definition glass-marking lasers, painting systems, and much more.
Staff at the stand will provide visitors with information on Glass Company’s exclusive production system for fire-resistant EI glass, along with examples.
LAMINATING WITH PVB FILM
Another successful sector where Glass Company is present, and which it will be presenting at Vitrum, is that of laminating using PVB film, thanks to the exclusive collaboration with an expert of this sector Cengiz Ergün. Glass Company’s product range also includes PVB glass laminating furnaces as well as stand-alone laminating furnaces for each and every need of glass processors.
An upcoming installation in Europe will be that of a laminating line for glass sizes up to 6000x3300mm, with ease of use, the possibility of processing different glass sizes and thicknesses, a large PVB roll stock with quick film thickness change and, last but not least, an affordable price considering today’s market.
