Every two years GLASS SERVICE sponsors an educational furnace design – operation & process simulation seminar in the Czech Republic, for the benefit of its customers.
The next Seminar will be held on 22-23 September 2021 at the Hotel Horal mountain resort in Velke Karlovice, Czech Republic. The Seminar will be open to everyone wanting to learn more about Industry 4.0, Artificial Intelligence, Hybrid Melters including Hydrogen optimized by CFD simulation.
In conjunction with the Seminar, on September 21, the ICG Technical Committee 15 & 21 Meeting and the GS Glass Furnace Model (GFM) User Meeting will be held.
The event takes place every two years and brings together 150+ glass experts from around the world to discuss the use of simulation & control tools, with the goal of optimizing the glass melting and forming process.
The 2021 Seminar will focus on presentations that provide solutions to reduce the CO2 emissions by 40 percent or more by the year 2030, following the Paris Climate agreement.
Registration will be launched in June 2021.
