The 17th International Seminar on Furnace Design – Operation and Process Simulation is scheduled for June 18 to 19, 2025.
The venue will be the beautiful and relaxing Wellness Hotel Horal mountain resort in Velke Karlovice, Czech Republic.
This biennial event, organized by Glass Service, brings together over 150 glass experts from around the world to discuss the use of simulation & control tools, with the goal of optimizing the glass melting and forming processes.
The Seminar will be open to anyone interested in learning more about The Furnace of the Future, Industry 4.0, Model-based predictive furnace control, Artificial Intelligence, All Electric Melters and Hybrid Melters including Hydrogen combustion optimized by CFD simulation.
The focus of the 2025 Seminar will be on presentations that offer solutions for reducing CO2 emissions by 43 percent or more by the year 2030, in alignment with the Paris Climate agreement.
