Glass Service announced the startup of the new Forehearth 3 for YORGLASS, which will produce press-tempered extra flint glass for washing machine windows.
This furnace will increase production to 120 tonnes per day (TPD) by enhancing the power of the electrical melting booster.
YORGLASS has been producing press-tempered glass using Glass Service’s batch plant, end-port furnace and Forehearth since 2022.
