According to Glass World Egypt 2013, to take place 28-30 June 2013, the glass industry in Egypt is expected to reach maximum output in coming years.

According to Glass World Egypt 2013, the 6th international exhibition for glass and aluminium technology, machinery and equipment, to take place 28-30 June 2013, the processing of high quality flat glass will witness strong growth in Egypt in the upcoming years, in the light of the domestic economic growth as well as growth in exports, especially to emerging markets in Africa and Southern Europe.
High quality flat glass is mandatory for construction, real estate and automotive industries, as well as exporting to emerging markets, and will lead to a doubling in production capacity in the near future.
High quality flat glass in Egypt has increased rapidly over the last four years due to expansion and the installation of about ten new factories for automotive, float and mirror glass.
Superfine glass enables to rationalize energy consumption through improved prevention of heat and light penetration, with a consequent positive impact on environmental protection.
