A recent open days event hosted by Glassolutions, provided CWG Choices trade customers with a one-stop glazing advice centre to resolve pressing sealed unit issues, as well as sales and marketing advice and support materials.
Acoustics and CE marking topped the list of hot glass and glazing topics amongst CWG Choices trade customers attending its recent open days held at its Corby site.
Technical experts from Glassolutions, supported by Swisspacer, provided a one-stop glazing advice centre at the open days at which door and window installers could resolve any pressing sealed unit issues on-the-spot, as well as accessing helpful sales and marketing advice and support materials.
The open day sessions on glass and glazing were provided by Glassolutions as part of its ongoing programme of support for its customers and their own trade buyer or installer customer base.
Providing the highest levels of energy efficiency, all windows and doors fabricated by CWG Choices feature EcoClear® sealed units manufactured by Glassolutions using the Planitherm family of low-E softcoat glass products. As part of the open days, Glassolutions demonstrated how its EcoClear sealed units contribute to CWG Choices’ new acoustic rated windows.
Glassolutions sales manager Mark High, who was on hand to deal with installer enquiries alongside technical manager Gareth East, said: “The CWG Choices open days provide such a useful opportunity for installers to get useful tips and advice, but also ask the bigger questions.”
“Clearly CE marking is one hot topic which installers need reassurance over and the open days provided the perfect time and place for that. Equally though, installers were also keen to learn about the key selling points in relation to the glazing and its overall contribution to the finished windows and doors.”
Mark and Gareth were joined by Carlo Theo Roes from Saint Gobain Group sister company and supply chain partner Swisspacer, whose spacer bars are used in the EcoClear sealed units that CWG Choices purchase. Other key supply chain partners including Solidor and Kommerling also took part in the open days.
