Glaston closes deal for a RC Series flat tempering line

Glaston will supply a RC Series flat tempering line for processing extra-long glasses to Novavetro

Glaston will deliver a RC Series flat tempering line to Italian Novavetro for its new large-size glass processing facility.

Glaston has closed a deal for a RC Series flat tempering line for processing extra-long glasses up to 12 meters, to Novavetro located in San Severino Marche, Italy. The order is booked in Glaston’s Q2/2018 order book and is part of Glaston second-quarter expected order intake. The furnace will be delivered to Italy towards the end of 2018.
Founded in 1979, Novavetro is a leading architectural glass supplier in Italy offering high-quality flat glass for the architectural segment. As the company is expanding operations, Novavetro decided to invest in a Glaston RC Series tempering furnace for its new large-size glass processing facility.
Novavetro has extensive know-how not only of glass processing but also of machine construction. “Their decision to invest in a Glaston furnace is a clear indication of Glaston’s solid position as technology leader of the industry,” comments Pekka Hytti, SVP EMEA of Glaston Corporation.
The RC Series tempering line includes the automatic roller heat control system and offers the best heating accuracy available on the market.
“Technological innovation and high quality products have enabled us to be leaders in the Italian market. By incorporating the RC Series furnace, we will further strengthen our position on the market and are able to meet the growing demand for high-quality jumbo size glass,” says Samuele Lucentini, owner of Novavetro.
