Glaston closes deal for FC Series furnace to Trulite Glass & Aluminium Solutions

The order is part of third-quarter expected order intake and will be delivered by the end of this year

Glaston Corporation has closed a deal with U.S based Trulite Glass & Aluminium Solutions for a FC Series jumbo-size tempering furnace. The order is part of Glaston’s third-quarter expected order intake. The line will be delivered to the customer by the end of this year.
Trulite Glass & Aluminum Solutions is one of North America’s largest architectural glass and aluminium fabricators. The company manufactures and distributes a complete line of architectural aluminium products, insulated units, mirrors, tempered, laminated, and decorative glass from over 26 locations throughout the U.S. and Canada.
The long term relationship between Glaston and Trulite Glass & Aluminium is based on the companies’  ambition to provide superior quality flat glass products. This investment follows the purchase of four FC 500 jumbo-sized furnaces, announced in 2015.
“Trulite has consistently invested in industry leading technology,” said Scott Steffy, Vice President, Sales and Service, North America. “The FC Series has established itself as the number one choice for customers who value high capacity, energy efficiency and superior optical quality of the end product.”
“Trulite Glass & Aluminum Solutions is very excited to build on our partnership with a true leader in convection furnace technology,” said Paul Mahedy, Executive Vice President, Trulite Glass and Aluminum Solutions. “Glaston continues to raise the bar with industry leading solutions that produce superior optical surface quality in high performance glass products. We look forward to continuing our mutually beneficial partnership. Our success together is based on providing superior quality flat glass products to meet and or exceed our customer’s needs.”
