Glaston launched two new lines of peripheral diamond wheels designed for longer lifetimes, working speeds and edging quality when processing glass for photovoltaic panels, as well as white goods and furniture. SolarTech, for photovoltaic panels, and WhiteTech, for white goods and furniture, use an innovative metal bond to assure the correct wheel profile when grinding even thousands of meters of glass at high working speeds. No interruptions are needed to reshape the tools. Both lines are produced using the most modern manufacturing technology. This allows for a high degree of precision with the geometric makeup to center the profiled shape in reference to the tool height. Plus, the technology provides perfect oscillation of both the radial and axial functions as well as precise wheel balance. SolarTech and WhiteTech wheels are easy to change and reduce noise considerably when grinding, making them the best available.
The new SolarTech and WhiteTech lines come in two versions suitable for any brand and type of double edger using peripheral wheels. The one-shot version features a diamond thickness suitable for a single working interval. The standard version with a larger diamond thickness minimizes the direct cost per worked meter because the tool can be reshaped and used for multiple working intervals.
