Czech Republic glassmaker Glaverbel Czech Group has reported consolidated sales of Kc 2.693 billion for the third quarter of 2000, a 14.9% improvement on the same period in 1999. For the first nine months of the year, Glaverbel Czech announced consolidated sales of Kc 7.734 billion, a 16.3% increase over the first nine months of 1999. According to Glaverbel Czech, the group“s high productivity level of the first two quarters is set to continue, and the end-of-year 2000 results should be the best in the history of the glassmaker. Glaverbel Czech is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Belgium-based flat glass producer Glaverbel.
