GPD call for speakers and workshops

Glass Performance Days Conference is heading towards its 25 Year Anniversary in June 28-30, 2017.

GPD can look back at an impressive record of collecting and sharing glass industry essentials. Since its inception in 1992, a total of over 12,000 delegates have attended 3,000 presentations, listened to 1,000 speakers and formed over 30,000 contacts.
Themes for GPD 2017
Currently there is a knowledge gap between the older and younger generations that are working in the glass industry. The event will address the need to have continuity in transferring knowledge from the older to the younger generations to cover this gap. Additionally, since the recent global recession has slowed down the growth of the industry, the event will be supporting the growth through innovation and education.
CALLING FOR SPEAKERS
Call for papers is available now and all interested in participating in our event can start submitting their material. We highly encourage everyone to read the General Speaker Guidelines available on the event website regarding the preparation and submission of material.
CALLING FOR WORKSHOPS
Motivated by the necessity to transfer appropriate and well-structured information among members of the glass industry, GPD advocated for the formation of special workshops during its main event.
Organizers of these workshops are permitted to plan their workshops however they please. They are also allowed to look into any topic of their choice as long as it falls into the category of the conferences main theme and focuses on the techniques and skill related to their topic. Apart from this, workshop organizers have the right to hand pick their preferred attendees from the list of all those registered for their workshop.
