GPD: first call for papers deadline extended

Speakers wishing to present a paper during next year’s edition of GPD have until today to send their abstract. All information and instructions can be found on the GPD website.

Due to technical issues that have caused difficulties in submitting the abstracts on time, the GPD Organizing committee has decided to extend the first call for papers deadline until today, Thursday, 18 October.
The abstract must be made up as follows: max. 200 words/abstract, 15 words/title, personal introduction of the speaker (max. 70 words/introduction. Submission must also include the speaker’s CV (PDF format, max. 10mb) and speaker’s photo (small, passport type, jpg, gif or png format only and file size max. 4mb), as well as VAT number for companies in the EU.
The Glass Performance Days (GPD) is an independent forum dedicated to the development of the global glass industry through education. The conference takes place in Finland every two years, as well as every year in India, China, and South America.
The next edition in Finland will take place – as usual – in Tampere, 13-15 June 2013.
