Guardian exhibits for first time at BAU

At this year’s edition of BAU, taking place until 19 January, in Munich, Germany, Guardian is continuing to expand its engagement with customers and industry influencers, offering its commercial, residential and interior products. Moreover, the company is also formally launching Guardian InGlass Europe, the website for the interior glass group and an industry-leading portfolio that allows designers to explore all the possibilities of glass.

Guardian Industries continues to expand its engagement with customers and industry influencers with its first exhibition at BAU, the world’s leading trade fair for architecture, materials and systems. Guardian is offering its commercial, residential and interior products at Hall C2, Stand 534 at the 14-19 January show in Munich, Germany.
Guardian’s presence at BAU brings its diverse product portfolio to a broader regional audience, and formally launches Guardian InGlass Europe, the website for the interior glass group and an industry-leading portfolio that allows designers to explore all the possibilities of glass. Guardian InGlass joins Guardian SunGuard for commercial architecture and Guardian ClimaGuard for residential projects in the stand.
“The InGlass website is an online resource that directly responds to needs voiced by architectural and design professionals,” said Eric Wroldsen, director of architectural markets for Guardian. “We created this site for our European architects and designers to unlock the potential of glass through access to knowledge, products and services exclusive to this region that will help bring their creative projects to life.”
Exhibiting at BAU continues Guardian’s ongoing investments in programmes, manufacturing and innovation in recent months, including the opening of its new float glass plant in Russia, its land acquisition in Malaysia, its new Spanish-language website and its presence at glasstec. The company has locations on five continents in more than 25 countries and customers that appreciate Guardian’s global knowledge of industry trends and ability to satisfy high-speed, high-volume requests. In Europe alone there are 11 production sites in Germany, UK, Luxemburg, Poland, Spain, Hungary and Russia.
“The product and service offerings for the SunGuard, ClimaGuard and InGlass portfolios have evolved dramatically since 2011, the same year of the last BAU show,” explained Hubert Kopf, head of marketing in Europe. “It’s perfect timing for us to reach an audience that may not be familiar with Guardian, nor aware of how expansive our product offering is, especially those high-performance products and services that contribute to net zero buildings.”
Visitors to Guardian’s display at Hall C2, Stand 534 at BAU 2013 will experience the latest advancements in glass products:
•    Guardian InGlass includes high endurance glass products which extend the product life cycle and offer dramatic light control and privacy options and corrosion resistance under punishing conditions. Guardian InGlass is also available in a variety of options.
