Guardian’s flat glass business in the Americas now has a new Vice President. Rick Zoulek, who was most recently vice president of Flat Glass for North America, will oversee all aspects of Guardian’s North and South American flat glass business.
Guardian Industries has named Rick Zoulek Vice President of Flat Glass for the Americas. Zoulek will oversee all aspects of Guardian’s North and South American flat glass business and position the company for continued long-term profitable growth. Zoulek was most recently vice president of Flat Glass for North America.
“Rick’s commercial expertise and strong leadership will provide our North America and South America businesses with broader capabilities that will support our operational and commercial needs throughout the entire region,” said Kevin Baird, President, Guardian Flat Glass.
In addition to Guardian’s seven US float glass plants and fabrication operations in the United States and Canada, Zoulek’s expanded territory includes float glass plants in Brazil (2), Mexico and Venezuela. Guardian also has distribution centres in Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica and Peru.
Zoulek joined Guardian in August 2013 as Vice President of Flat Glass for North America. Since then, he and his team have made significant operational and commercial improvements across North America. Before joining Guardian, Zoulek was a Corporate Officer and Vice President of Industrial Coatings for PPG Industries, where he spent 24 years in various roles of increasing responsibility.
