South Korean firm Hankuk Electric Glass has said it is considering a 1,000-won end-of-year dividend. This would represent 20 per cent of face value. The company expects net profit to double to 160 billion won this year from a year ago on rising sales from large-sized glass bulb and other high value-added products. For the nine months to September, sales rose 29 per cent to 527.2 billion won and recurring profit 188 per cent to 182.6 billion won. The company recently agreed to introduce CRT technology from Asahi Glass of Japan, the official said.
