Hebei Shichuang Glass has reportedly succeeded in trial operations of ultra-thin glass production lines, thus breaking foreign monopoly for this type of product.
Hebei Shichuang Glass Co., Ltd. has, according to Langfang Bureau of Science and Technology, succeeded in trial operations of ultra-thin glass production lines. Its main product is ultra-thin glass panels using oxygen-fuel combustion and electronic information display, which is as thin as a piece of ordinary printing paper. This milestone in the ultra-thin glass industry breaks foreign monopoly for this type of product.
The project, with the total investment of CNY 1.2 billion, aims to build two ultra-thin electronic glass production lines. On completion, annual production will be in the range of 1.28 million weight cases ranging from 0.33mm to 0.7mm, with annual sales revenue of CNY 1.5 billion.
