Helix® and X360 on display in Germany

Inkcups will showcase their innovative solutions for direct digital printing on cylindrical and conical objects at K 2019 and InPrint Munich 2019

This fall, Inkcups will present high performance, industrial digital inkjet systems for 360-degree printing on cylindrical (straight-walled) and tapered items made from glass and other materials at two major international trade shows in Germany.

The Inkcups systems for direct-to-shape printing will be on show at K 2019 (from October 16 to 23 in Dusseldorf), and InPrint, the International Exhibition of Print Technology for Industrial Manufacturing (from November 12 to 14 in Munich).

At both exhibitions, the X360 high-speed rotary inkjet printer, launched in Europe only months ago in June 2019, and the top-selling Inkcups Helix® model will be on display at the booth of Inkcups distribution partner DP Solutions (K 2019: Hall 4, Stand A15; InPrint: Stand 410). Both systems work with UV LED-curable inks and feature a tilt system for adjusting the angle when printing on conical items. These digital cylinder printers from Inkcups are perfect for industrial parts, containers, bottles, drinkware, and much more.

The X360 offers excellent value and delivers full-color printing on objects with a length of 76 to 305 millimetres and any diameter from 40 to 120 millimetres. The machine prints CMYK plus two highly opaque white inks, with an optional varnish for additional visual impact. The X360 has a maximum resolution of 900 dpi working in 4 pass mode.

The Helix® printer strikes an ideal balance between speed and image quality thanks to its patented Helix® software, which places 7-picoliter drops of ink precisely along objects at extremely high speed. The system provides up to 1200 dpi resolution, CMYKWW printing plus optional varnish and various printing modes from 4 to 24 pass. The Helix® prints on items from 76 to 305 millimetres in length and from 51 to 127 millimetres in diameter.

Both printing systems come with one full year of InkcupCare, which covers diagnostics and remote service calls, parts and more for one year. After the first year, Inkcups offers different extended coverage plans.
