Horn has supplied a low energy-consuming furnace with low emissions to Pochet du Courval, which will, thanks to the new design and new firing system, emit less than 700mg NOx per cubic meter of waste gases.

Horn Glass Industries has recently repaired Pochet du Courval’s furnace No 4, which is a regenerative end-fired furnace with 34 sq.m. melting surface to produce super-flint perfume and cosmetic bottles, and is heated by natural gas and electricity.
Under the condition of a low energy-consuming furnace with low emissions, Horn secured the order for the furnace repair. With the new design and the new firing system using the Dualflame AC burners, the furnace emits less than 700 mg NOx per cubic meter of waste gases.
